Singapore Math 3

Mondays and Wednesdays from
8:00-8:40am Pacific/ 9:00-9:40 Mountain
10:00-10:40 Central/ 11:00-11:40 pm Eastern
Tuition is $90 per four week period

I spent a considerable amount of time learning about and comparing various math curriculums before setting out on my Singapore Math adventure over 6 years ago. Since I started teaching this curriculum, I have continued to be delighted and amazed at how well it is put together and how it teaches kids of all ages to think like a mathematician, not a robot. There is a reason why Singapore students score higher in math than students in any other country and why so many schools in the United States are adopting this curriculum. Students in the Singapore Math  course will discover how to use mental math as well as traditional methods to solve arithmatic problems.  They will become accustomed to the number bond diagram for thinking about parts and how they relate to the whole.   Students will be using the bar models for which Singapore math is so famous!  Each new puzzle solved will give your student that same thrill as winning a family board or card game. Math can be fun! You and your student are invited to join us in the adventure this summer!
