Jen Caddell

​I have a degree from Wake Forest University in psychology with an emphasis in learning theory and child development. I have taught enrichment classes and offered private tutoring in the subjects of math, science, history and language arts for kids and teens for 17 years.  In 2021, I was a finalist for the MoMath Rosenthal Prize for Innovation and Inspiration in Math Teaching.

Jen's sister, ​Sarah has a degree from Florida State University in history, and 6 years experience in high school and college debate, both as a debater and a judge.  She has has also taught dance to middle school students.
Although Sarah has taught live classes with Jen in the past, she is now working "behind the scenes" at Adventures For Young Explorers, updating assignments and grades, creating online worksheets and quizzes and helping to plan curriculum for various classes.  Students will see her listed as an additional  "teacher" in their google classrooms which enables her to help keep everything organized and up to date!
