Find your voice and learn to write with confidence. This is a Writer's Lab style course, where students will have an opportunity to turn in a rough draft of each assignment a week before the final draft is due. This allows ample time for a dialogue between teacher and each student about how to polish and improve a piece of writing. We will also walk through examples of student writing from prewrite through final draft, so that students can see how the process of good writing progresses and have thoughtful class discussions about what makes good writing.
- Veikk Pen Tablet (this works like a computer mouse, but with more precision, and will help your student to write and draw on their computer screen during class. This is for students who will be attending class primarily on a computer. )
